At West U we understand that we don't do the hard work of discipleship just to do it, we do it so that we are more equipped to be used by God in changing to world. We want to claim our mission from Jesus and get out there and make a difference.

Serving the Church:
There are lots of places to get involved in serving the church. You can be an usher, a greeter, or you could be on one of our set-up/take down crews. There are lots of ways to get involved click here to visit our "get involved" page and find our more about serving the church.

Serving the City:
"The U Loves SA" is the local mission project for all of University UMC. Every month we descend on a different local ministry that we partner with to help them do their ministry. We do everything from cleaning, to organizing, to hanging out and playing with kids to helping show the love of Jesus Christ. Click here to see the schedule for upcoming "U Loves SA" projects.

Our u|groups participate in The U Loves SA, and if you get involved in the Pathway to Discipleship there are also specific mission projects for those groups as well.

Serving the World:
Christ has called us to be his witnesses all over the world, so we are doing our best to accomplish that. We send out several international mission trips each year to places like Costa Rica, Africa, Guatemala, and more. To learn more about international mission at The U click here.
