Come be a part of this life-changing event in beautiful Costa Rica! We will spend several days working in the village of Carrillos just outside Allejuela (near San Jose). You can expect the work to be pretty difficult and the days pretty long as everything here is done manually, and when I say everything - I mean everything!! We will be working to build homes for the poor, doing construction on a church, as well as working with a feeding program for children and also at a home for single, teenage moms. This is a trip that is often filled with laughter as well as tears, great joy and deep brokenness, and in the end produces a great sense of community for all.
Final payment is due 14 days before event. Underwriting is available on a need basis. Registration for an event, even without payment, is an agreement to participate in the event. Upon registration, the student ministry staff reserves space, lodging, airfare, etc. associated with the event in the registered participant's name. Should the registered participant not participate in the event for any reason, the staff will do everything they can to recover any or all costs incurred by the church. The registered participant will still be responsible for any costs incurred by the church that we are unable to recover.
