Honoring God by honoring individuals and families with special needs, u|ability Special Needs Ministry provides a Christ-centered, safe, and caring environment for children with unique challenges, abilities, and disabilities.

It is our desire to minister to individuals with special needs by showing them God’s unconditional love and acceptance, by creating an environment in which all people with all abilities can worship our Lord Jesus Christ, and to help strengthen special-needs families.

Join us at one or all of our weekly activities:

Sunday School

Sundays at 9:30 & 11:00 am.

Parents of children from birth to 5th grade have the option of having their child in an inclusive Sunday School environment or in a self-contained classroom. Both options offer loving personalized attendance with a caregiver and Christ-centered lessons and activities.

u|ability Sunday School class at 9:30 am and the IMPACT Praise Experience is open to all youth. Contact the student ministry office for more details.

Religion in Everday Life Sunday School

Sundays from 10:00 - 10:45 am | Rooms S116/S117

Open to all adults and their caregivers.  Free tacos and coffee are offered during this time.
* There will be no class December 25, 2011 and January 1, 2012.

Believer’s Garden

Sunday Worship from 11:00 – 12:00 noon | South Gym

Everyone is welcome to join us in a lively time of praise and worship followed by practical messages on becoming more like Christ.  Come share the experience of Communion on the 1st Sunday of every month and join us for on the 3rd Sundays for Lunch.
**This year 2012, January - May we have Confirmation classes going on during this worship service!
 

Helping Hands

Beginning September 4, 2012 Monday-Friday from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm

BINGO

Every Thursday night from 7:00 - 8:00 pm

Everyone (including caregivers) wins a prize at Bingo night! There is no cost to play Bingo at the U.
*There will be no Bingo November 23 and December 27, 2012 or January 3, 2013.

Fragile X Support Group

Second Saturday of each month from 4:00 - 6:00 pm | Rooms S116/S117
This group will not meet at UUMC for the months of November and December.

Asperger's Adult Support Group

First Sunday of each month from 3:30 - 5:30 pm | Rooms S116/S117
This group will not meet at UUMC in September.
