University United Methodist Day School follows the Northside Independent School District's school calendar including all student holidays and bad weather make-up days (if necessary) as well as the UUMC Holiday Schedule.  The Day School also observes approximately two to three of the NISD early release days (review your parent calendar for specific dates) so that the Day School staff may participate in staff development and planning sessions.

UUMC Day School follows the Northside ISD's school closure plans for inclement/hazardous weather conditions or emergencies.  Please tune in to local television and radio stations for school closing or start/end times.

• 8:30- 8:45 - Greeting and parent departure
• Center Time (free choice) – Art, blocks, dramatic play, manipulatives, sensory
• Music class twice a month
• Snack
• Playground (45 minutes)
• Story Time
• Lunch
• Rest Time
• 2:30 – Parent pick-up

  *Computers offered to children attending three or more days.
  *Spanish and art are offered to children attending M-F.
