Missions
Boarder/Mexico – Mission teams travel to Mexico on a monthly or bi-monthly basis and provide medical, VBS, or construction services. Trips have temporarily been suspended due to safety concerns, but we hope to resume soon. Stay posted for upcoming opportunities.
Bogota, Colombia – the focus of the trip is decided by the group once it is formed and can range from construction, to ministry work with street children.
Camanchaj, Guatemala – This is a medical team that focuses on eye surgery and works at the Salud y Paz clinic and ministry.
Haiti – This is a minor construction and debris removal at one of nine priority locations established by UMVIM and the Methodist church of Haiti. The trip is scheduled for July 23-31 2013
San Jose, Costa Rica – The Mark Swayze Band Mission Team will be leading a Spiritual Emphasis Week at the Methodist High School in San Jose, Costa Rica. They will also be spending the week working with children, giving testimonies, and assisting in various construction projects at the Methodist Children's Home. This trip is scheduled for May 12 - 20, 2013.

SAGE – San Antonio Guatemalan Endeavor, is a medical trip that consists of people from UUMC and the larger medical community of San Antonio. There is also a non-medical part of this team that works in the homes of people in surrounding villages building stoves.
Senegal, Africa – This is a medical mission trip. We have been blessed with 2 teams this coming year. Our first group departs on January 25, 2013 and the second team departs on February 1, 2013.
Zacapa, Guatemala – The work will include dentistry, medical, VBS, eye/eyeglass clinics, nutrition and cooking classes, hygiene and health classes, and perhaps some construction.
Zimbabwe, Africa – This is a newer addition to our international missions offerings. Dates are still being planned for 2013.
