Boarder/Mexico – Mission teams travel to Mexico on a monthly or bi-monthly basis and provide medical, VBS, or construction services. Trips have temporarily been suspended due to safety concerns, but we hope to resume soon. Stay posted for upcoming opportunities.

Bogota, Colombia – the focus of the trip is decided by the group once it is formed and can range from construction, to ministry work with street children. Next trip tentatively planned for summer 2012.

Camanchaj, Guatemala – This is a medical team that focuses on eye surgery and works at the Salud y Paz clinic and ministry. Next trip February 11-21, 2012.

Haiti – This is a minor construction and debris removal at one of nine priority locations established by UMVIM and the Methodist church of Haiti. Next trip June 20-28, 2012.

San Jose, Costa Rica –  Join Rev. Knight on this team that goes to work along side the people of the Evangelical Methodist Church of Costa Rica in serving poor children, families, and churches in and around San Jose. The trip is mainly construction with some children ministered feeding program work. This trip is for those whom it will be their first time international mission. Next trip summer 2012.

SAGE – San Antonio Guatemalan Endeavor, is a medical trip that consists of people from UUMC and the larger medical community of San Antonio. There is also a non-medical part of this team that works in the homes of people in surrounding villages building stoves. The next trip is scheduled for July 14-25, 2012.

Senegal, Africa – This is a medical mission trip. Next trip is April 20-30, 2012.

Zacapa, Guatemala – The work will include dentistry, medical, VBS, eye/eyeglass clinics, nutrition and cooking classes, hygiene and health classes, and perhaps some construction. 2012 dates are still being planned, but look like they will be late in the year.

Zimbabwe, Africa – This is a newer addition to our international missions offerings. The next trip will take place summer 2012
