Yuriy and Peter Radchuk

Q: How long have you been in this specific mission field?
A: We have been in Ukraine since 1989, and the Russian Far East, 1992

Q: How long do you plan to serve your present location?
A: We plan to continue working across the Slavic countries in Europe and Asia.

Q: What other fields or ministries have you served and for how long?
A: In Argentina from 2000 and in India since 2003.

Q: Describe in a short paragraph the specific mission work you do. Tell us about the people to whom you minister.
A: Slavic Ministries "Good Samaritan" exists, on the one hand, to preach the Gospel to the unevangelized peoples of the world, by training, sending and supporting missionaries, evangelists and pastors in Ukraine, remote areas of Siberia, India and Argentina. On the other hand of our ministry reaches out to orphan children, widows, the sick and needy, through monthly support and various programs, such as building orphanages and distributing Christmas gifts.

In USA, we have a 3 month Bible School with the purpose of training young adults for ministry and missionary work. We encourage them to go out into the mission fields for practical experience at the completion of their course. Such schools are also held every year at our branch in Rovno, Ukraine, and graduates are sent to different regions of the country for full-time ministry and church planting.

Q: What are the goals for your ministry in the coming year?
A: Continue to raise support for monthly sponsorship of pastors and missionaries working full-time in Ukraine, Russia and India.
Continue to raise funds for support of 2 orphanages in India, 3 in Argentina and 1 in West Ukraine.
Visit Russia and Ukraine with the purpose of holding outdoor outreach services, encouraging Christians in newly planted churches, teaching in Bible Schools.
We plan to have a Practical Missionary Bible School Course in the Summer of 2012 in USA and a Bible School in Ukraine.
Hold an annual missionary conference in the fall where ministry representatives and sponsors will have an opportunity to share their needs and vision, encourage each other and pray together.
Take a team on a missions trip to India in December. In India, the goal will be to hold seminars for pastors, buy gift bags of produce for widows, visit orphanages and pass out Christmas gifts, hold services in villages and have a community Christmas dinner for village people, purchase bicycles, motorcycles and Bibles for pastors and Bible School graduates.

Q: In what ways, other than financial, can The U partner with you?
A: By praying for our missionaries and mission trips, new churches and various projects.
We would appreciate prayer for our Bible School students during the three month session and their mission outreach culminating activity.
By joining a team from Good Samaritan Ministries to visit and/or work on one of our fields.
