The United Methodist Volunteer In Missions (UMVIM) Haiti Response Plan staff has been working with the Eglise Methodiste d’Haiti (EMH, the Methodist Church of Haiti) to host volunteer teams to address the humanitarian needs and priority projects of the EMH. The EMH in partnership with the General Board of Global Ministries, has developed priorities for rebuilding ministries in Haiti. Schools are the first priority.
 

Our June trip will involve basic construction and debris removal as directed by the UMVIM coordinator. We will receive our assignment to one of eight priority locations approximately six weeks prior to our departure date.
