Our Texas/Mexico border mission work supports 8 Mexican Methodist Churches, a home for disabled, and 2 orphanages in Piedras Negras, Mexico. That support includes medical missions, construction projects, and supplies (food,clothing, childrenʼs evangelism, school supplies, bible study materials, fund-raising).

As the result of the violence along the Texas/Mexico border, University UMC is for the time being, no longer sponsoring volunteer teams going across the border. We continue to support the same churches and organizations financially and through other donations. Donations of all kinds are welcome. Please pray for our neighbors in Mexico and as soon as the church begins to sponsor mission trip across the border again we will post it here.
