Christian Assistance Ministry (CAM) provides food, clothing and financial assistance to individuals and families in crisis. The donation process is often quite arduous as CAM has to sort, size and place clothing for clients that are appropriate by gender, age, and size for each season. This often is a monumental task! Yet it is vital to meet CAM’s clients’ needs.

We will help sort, size, store, and place donated items for their clients in their warehouse (this takes a large group of people to accomplish!). In addition, CAM’s building and client service area are all donated, well used and quite mature. We will have quite a few small cleaning and repair jobs that are best suited for large groups on the weekends. This ensures that CAM will have a place to serve their clients today and well into the future. A sample of the work that needs to be accomplished is: Stabilize a donation bin they just received (level the ground), finish painting a small room in our women’s sorting area, paint doors, and some hard cleaning: moving shelves and cleaning them, cleaning freezers, and dusting.

CAM operates on a very tight budget so we will be asking people to bring some equipment to the site on the day that we serve. A complete list will be compiled as we get closer to the service day and will be made available on the registration website or via email.
